According to meta-researcher Dr. John Hattie, teachers having high expectations of their students is a strong predictor of the student's academic outcomes. While reviewing the latest research, participants will learn about poverty and its impact on student learning. Strategies will be shared by an educator who has spent his entire career working on transforming schools across the country as well as motivating students towards student success.
